Traditionally, ITI courses have been very popular among students, especially from rural areas, as they offer courses that focus on skill development. Students who leave ITI are trained professionals, either in the field of engineering or non-engineering.

However, in the last decade, the popularity of ITI courses has dropped drastically due to several factors. This has forced many students to start thinking about the feasibility of taking an ITI course. Nowadays, students often face questions such as “Have ITI training programs lost their former brilliance? The All India Trade Test is conducted by the NCVT (National Council for Vocational Training). The test is a skill test that certifies ITI students. After passing the AITT, students receive the National Trade Certificate (NTC) in relation to trade by NCVT. In many engineering jobs, an NTC is equivalent to a diploma degree.
